Following the themes of honesty and vulnerability in Kocays’s debut EP, Explicitly, I’ve Told follows a tale of love, loss and illusion. Kocays says that the new single is “a declaration of love. As the music tells a tale within itself, the lyrical content makes no apologies in its presentation of honesty towards the way in which I felt at the time of writing."
